After a successful trial season in Kansai in 2025, the Japan Women’s Sixes (JW6) League is set for another exciting year in 2026, expanding its reach across three regions — Kansai, Kanto, and Tohoku.

The JW6 continues to grow as a fun and fast-paced 6-a-side T10 hardball competition that showcases the energy and talent of women’s cricket in Japan. The league provides players with plenty of opportunities to enjoy competitive cricket, develop their skills, and connect with others in an encouraging and inclusive environment.

In 2026, the Kansai and Tohoku leagues will run throughout the year, offering consistent match opportunities. The Kanto league will take place between July and October, providing an exciting end-of-summer experience for players in the region.

The Japan Women’s Sixes aims to bring together players of all levels — from beginners to experienced athletes — to promote women’s participation in cricket and strengthen local communities through sport.
