The Japan Cricket Association were delighted to be able to send coaches from all of our national programmes to participate in the recently concluded ICC Level Three course held in Malaysia.
Men’s Coach Dhugal Bedingfield, Women’s Coach Vinay Iyer, Under 19 Coach Reo Sakurano-Thomas and High Performance Consultant Duncan Harrison were all part of the course aimed at increasing the standard of coaching across the world.
The course, which ran across five days, had ICC Master Educators from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the West Indies who all brought valuable learnings and perspectives to the group.
The JCA would like to thank the ICC for creating this opportunity and also Malaysia Cricket for their hospitality.
This continues the commitment the JCA shows to developing our coaches following the Level Two course run in Sano in 2025 and the sending of Raheel Kano and Vinay Iyer to Brisbane in August to participate in a Coach Tutor course.
In addition, the JCA was pleased to support Devon Van Onselen in completing his “CoachEd” Level Four recently, all of which contributes to growing the level of expertise around cricket coaching in Japan.
