Malaysia Women to Visit Japan in September
The Women’s Japan National team will play a three match series against Malaysia Women in September at the Sano International Cricket Ground.
The teams have only ever played each other once before, meeting in the 2024 ACC Premier Cup where the hosts Malaysia won a tight Quarter-Final knockout match by 16 runs.
Malaysia are scheduled to arrive in Sano on Wednesday 9th September before having training on the 10th and having matches played each day between 11th and 13th.
Japan Cricket Chief Operations Officer Alan Curr said: “We are really pleased to have secured this series and wish to thank the Malaysia Cricket Association for their willingness to work together. I hope it can be the start of regular contests between our senior national teams.”
Match timings are still to be confirmed, but all matches will be available to watch on the JCA YouTube Channel.
