We are excited to announce the opening for a Head Groundsman to take charge of the turf pitches at the Sano International Cricket Ground (SICG).
The Head Groundsman is responsible for the preparation, maintenance and presentation of all turf surfaces including outfield and turf wickets at the Sano International Cricket Ground which includes two squares each fitted with a hybrid wicket as well as turf strips laid in March 2026.
While the role is primarily focussed on the SICG, there is also a requirement to oversee the management and maintenance at the Watarase cricket grounds in Sano which has seven cricket ovals. There may be scope to assist with developing other playing surfaces for major events in centres such as Nagoya if required.
