
The Japan Olympic Committee has approved the 15-player team chosen by the Japan National Selection Panel to represent Japan in the women’s cricket competition at the 20th Asian Games, which will be held in Nisshin City, Aichi Prefecture, this September.
The announcement follows the draw which took place on Thursday 23rd July where the Japan team was drawn in a Quarter Final match up with India.
The dates and times of the fixture will be confirmed soon.
The squad includes two players, Mai Yanagida and Kurumi Ota, who took part the last time the Women’s Japan National Team participated at the Asian Games in Incheon, 2014.
